The Igor Sikorsky Scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to talented African-American, Hispanic-American and Native-American students pursuing studies in:
Aerospace Engineering
Mechanical/Materials Engineering
Electrical/Computer Engineering
Computer Science
· 50% of academic institution’s prevailing tuition rate and fees 1st year in the program.
· 75% of academic institution’s prevailing tuition rate and fees for their 2nd year in the program
· 100% of academic institution’s prevailing tuition rate and fees for their 3rd year in the program
· Scholarship recipients must complete a minimum of two ten week paid internships at Sikorsky Aircraft
Are You Eligible?
1. This scholarship program is available to the following groups that are under-represented in the Engineering profession: African-American, Hispanic and Native-American.
2. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
3. Applicant must be a Freshman or Sophomore
4. Proof of identity and eligibility for employment in the U.S. is required
